Jaycee Roth: Owner

My true passion is animals, dogs in particular.

As a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, I have taught puppy and basic training. The socialization process for a puppy is very important (we have all probably met up with a dog that was not well socialized!). I use different techniques based on the personality of the dog, paying particular attention to the traits inherent in each breed.

My greatest success story as a trainer was Jovani's Jailhouse Rock, a.k.a., "Turbo". He was my 11-pound Italian Greyhound. It took only a year and a half to train and finish him as a champion in 1996! We traveled to shows all over Florida and it gave us a real taste of "show business"! He was a natural, and never held his star status over the other two Italian Greyhounds that lived with us. He was a hard worker and I was so proud of him--I miss him terribly.

Greyhounds are not the only dogs aVIP helps with adoption. We try to find good, caring homes for all breeds. My philosophy is that all dogs are special and deserve special homes. If they need help becoming more special, we do that, too. If they still need more help, we try to find special homes that can do that for them.

So, as you can see, my life is about dogs and I want to help make your life about them, too!
